Mom's out of the hospital today! She looks great. Kiara and I will be visiting her tonight.

On another front, I've seemed to be depressed. I've got a lot of reasons why, but none that I want to put out there for the public. I hope "situations" in my life change soon, but I'm starting to come to the realization that "this is it"...this is all that there is of life. Sigh...

My mother is doing better... She is at a rehab hospital, and is looking in good spirits. I doubt that she will be there the full two weeks. Many props go to my sisters who visit Mom often. Props also go out to their families that are "takin' care of business" at home while my sisters are visiting Mom.

On the Kiara front, she's using an old keyboard that was laying around as her own. She kept wanting to use our computer, and so we thought that this would make a good substitution (until she realizes that she doesn't have a monitor, a mouse, or a cpu...then I'm in trouble...ha ha!)

My mother has been moved to a hospital/rehab facility for at most the next two weeks. She seems in good spirits.

My aunt-in-law, meanwhile, was also in the hospital to have some tests and a procedure. I'm hoping she's doing well... I'm hoping to have Jennifer log on to explain more about what happened.

My mother fell down a couple of stairs last Saturday and injured her ankle. At first, I thought it was just hyperextended, but I guess that she broke a bone and did other damage. She was in surgery yesterday where they reattached some stuff in her foot. She came out of it okay, but she's probably got a LONG road to recovery.

Welcome to Bilyk's Pride News, an updated account of what's happening with "Bilyk's Pride". As Jennifer or I come up with more information to add, we will add this to this weblog. The purpose of this is to let everyone know what exactly is going on with Kiara Anne Bilyk. I'll also put in updates about Jennifer and me also, but it's really the Kiara stuff that people care about. I'm posting this from work, so I better get back to work, otherwise my next post will be about looking for a new job.
